He was predeceased by: his parents, William Shutts and Pauline Bigalow; his siblings, Betty McMahon, Annette Shutts and Kenny Shutts; and his close friends, Polly and Chuck Wagon.
He is survived by: his wife Viola Glazier Shutts; and his brother Francis Shutts of Geneseo. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
