With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Derrick Purves (Cortland, New York), born in Potsdam, New York, who passed away on January 19, 2020 at the age of 43. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his father Wallace E. 'Wally' Purves. He is survived by: his mother Mary Jane Murray Purves of Norwood; his daughter Courtney L. Purves of Cortland; his sister Donna J. Purves; his stepbrother Robert Purves of Florida; and his grandmother Leila Murray of Norwood. He is also survived by several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
