He was predeceased by: his parents, Seth Powers and Helena Powers (Miller); and his sister Joan Nadge (Jim). He is survived by: his stepmother Thelma Powers; his wife Sharon Laurell Powers; his sons, Brian Powers, Jeffrey Powers (Janet) and Michael Powers (Stephanie); his grandchildren, Alexander, Megan, Logan, Addison, Molly and Ellen; his sisters, Susan Powers and Marsha Havran (Victor); his stepbrother Thomas Powers (Charlene); and his siblings-in-law, Suzi Stiennon (Arthur), Gregory Laurell (Mary Ann) and Kim Laurell (Esther). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
