It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Darrell Lynn Carter of Cortland, New York, who passed away on September 18, 2023, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, C. Douglas Carter and Sylvia Smith Carter; and his brother-in-law Joseph Masterpaul. He is survived by: his wife Michele; his sons, Daniel and Michael Carter; his stepdaughters, Brittany Seeberger and Jena Griffin; his siblings, Douglas Carter, Craig Carter and Carol Masterpaul; and his grandchildren, Craig Griffin, Jaycee Harshfield, Makenzie Seeberger and Joseph Seeberger. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
