He was predeceased by: his father Martin; and his sister-in-law Mary Hughes. He is survived by: his spouse Carolee; his daughters, Theresa Brightwell (Randall) and Joann Doran (Mike); his grandchildren, RaeAnne, Brandon, Dillyn, Wyatt, Alexander, Lindsey and Makenzie; his mother Marie N. Hughes; his siblings, Mike (Theresa), Jim (Barb), Annette (Chuck), Karen, Jack, Tim (Terri), Marty (Mary), Bill (Joan) and Tom (Fawn); and his friend Paul Brown.
In lieu of flowers, contributions would be appreciated to the Cortland High School wrestling program, or the Sullivan County School District wrestling program, Laporte, Pennsylvania.
