It is always difficult saying goodbye to someone we love and cherish. Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Claude Munson of Cortland, New York, who passed away at the age of 92, on September 7, 2021. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Barton Munson and Audrey Fuller Munson; and his son Larry Munson. He is survived by: his wife Bertha of Cortland; and his daughters, Claudia Golley (Jim) of McGraw and Glenda Thornton (Bob) of Cortland. He is also survived by 3 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.

“I was very fortunate to have known Claude. He and I took the offering in Blodgett Mills church every Sunday for quite a few years. Whenever we saw each other, we would smile and shake each others hands. When I was growing up, it was an endearing way to say hello. We would jibber jabber a bit after the service back in the annex over a cup of coffee and enjoy a laugh or two. I only wish I had spent more time with my friend and will miss that young man very much. I thank God for our friendship.”
