He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Joseph and Helen Marie Vaeth; and his siblings, William Vaeth and Helen Carlson. He is survived by: his spouse Beverly Sassman; his children, Brenda Forshee (Jim) of Cortland, Christopher Vaeth of Rome and Cary Vaeth (Jean) of Scotia, NY.; his grandchildren, Danielle Swenton (Dan), Jessica Pekmaz (Mirza), Stephanie Owens (Ben), Andrew Vaeth, Nicholas Vaeth and Haley Vaeth; and his great grandchildren, Adem Pekmaz, Connor Swenton, Keegan Swenton, Olivia Owens and Molly Owens.
