She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Niles and Elizabeth King Niles; her husband Leo Spangenburg; her daughter Sonia Spangenburg; and her siblings, Charles, James, David and Joan.

She is survived by: her daughters, Cindy Hegedus (Andrew), Lori Spangenburg, Sue Arnold and Renee Baatz (Carl); and her grandchildren, Jason, Jeremy, Desiree, Heather and Alfred. She is also survived by eight great grandchildren, along with nieces, nephews, and cousins.
