He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Ponton and Mary Ponton. He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth Ponton; his children, Darlene Stanley (JW), Michelle McIntyre (Kenneth), Scott Ponton (Sherry) and Jeffrey Ponton; his stepson Jeffery Little; and his sisters, Carol Allen (Harold) and Mary Baker. He is also survived by many grandchildren great grandchildren nieces and nephews.
