He was predeceased by: his father Michael Ferro. He is survived by: his wife Genevieve Morris Ferro; his children, Nancy Rongo (Joseph), Michael (Regina) and David (Theresa); his granddaughters, Genevieve Mezzo (Jeff), Kaitlyn Law (Eric) and Michaella; his great grandchildren, Clayton and Mark; his siblings, Tino (Carole) and Selinda Mandarano (Jim); and his pet Sugarbear. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Sonny asked for any memorial contributions to be made to St. Mary's School.
