She was predeceased by: her parents, Ivan VanDee and Ethel VanDee; her husband Calvin Gilbert Jr.; her son Mark Gilbert; her son-in-law David Baker; her great grandchild Alexia Haynes; and her sisters, Margret Gaines and Esther Mascato.
She is survived by: her daughters, Nancy Samson (Sandy), Sharon Gilbert, Judy Ingrahm, Susan McCall (Gary) and Kelly Baker; her daughter-in-law Kathy Gilbert; her sister Bessie King; and her friend Carol Ulrich. She is also survived by several grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews.
