He was predeceased by: his parents, Darrell Hall, Sr. and Leah Wildman Hall; his former wife Joan Lowe Hall; his children, James Edward Lowe, Jr., Brian Scott Hall and Melodie Lowe Edwards; his wife Darlene W. Hall; and his siblings, Stanley, Ronald, LeRoy, Darrell, Jr., Betty, Lora, Shirley, Doris, Linda and Diane.
He is survived by: his daughter Mercedes L. Mosby (Leyburn) of Lynchburg, VA.; his grandchildren, Jarrett Taylor Jost, Meredith Taylor Price (David), Leigh Mosby, Wade Mosby (Alexandra), Whitney Lowe and Troy Lowe; his brother Richard "Dick" Hall of Kingston, NY; and his stepsons, Brian J. Walling, Martin L. Walling and Mark A. Walling.
