She was predeceased by: her parents, Patrick Carey and Mary Alice Carey (Beams); her husband Timothy Rich; and her sisters, Elizabeth Earl, Gail Lanner and Judith Charleston.
She is survived by: her children, Darren Rich (Emily) of Washingtonville, NY, Terrence Rich of Cornwall, NY, Andrew Rich (Barbara) of Highland Mills, NY and Christine Burkhart of New Windsor, NY; her siblings, Michael Carey of Deposit, NY, William Carey, Paul Carey of McDonough, NY, Patrick Carey II of Chester, NY, Barbara Baker of Little River, SC, Joan MacLeay of Longs, SC and Martha Singer of Longs, SC; and her grandchildren, Kara, Alyssa, Regina, Guy, Alex, Katrina, Jenna, Ava, Drew and Trenton. She is also survived by 4 great grandchildren.
