She was predeceased by: her parent William Brunner; her husband Russell Casterlin; her son Kenneth Casterlin; her brothers, Harry Brunner and William Brunner; and her son-in-law Walter Bunt.
She is survived by: her parent Helen Carney Brunner; her children, Shirley Cannelli (Carmen), Evelyn Needham (Ebby), Helen Bunt, Diane Casterlin and Tjerick Casterlin (Elizabeth); and her grandchildren, Vincent Cannelli (Jacqueline Hoey), Corinn Scoppa (Philip), Steven Bunt (Sherry), Walter Bunt (Linda), Jennifer Casterlin, Tjerick Casterlin, Jr. (Elisha), Jason Casterlin (Jessica) and Julie Casterlin.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations in Shirley's memory please be made to St. John's Episcopal Church.
