She was predeceased by: her parents, George Garrow and Clara Garrow (News); her daughter Kathleen Smoke; and her siblings, Olive Simpson, Rebecca Smith, Angeline King, Robert and Webster Garrow.
She is survived by: her husband Edward Smoke; and her children, Larry Garrow (Sherry) of Akwesasne, Terry Garrow (Linda) of Akwesasne, Doug Smoke (Diane) of Akwesasne, Carolyn Francis (John) of Akwesasne, Edward Smoke (Rena) of Akwesasne and Barbra Smoke-Thompson (Mike) of Akwesasne. She is also survived by 19 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
