She was predeceased by: her parents, Albert Peterson and Clarice Peterson (VanDunk); her siblings, Albert Peterson Jr. and Terri Anne Jackson; and her sister-in-law Marcia Peterson.
She is survived by: her husband James R. Vandervort Jr.; her son Jeremy Ryan Vandervort; her grandsons, Jeremiah Crystian Vandervort and Nelson James Vandervort; her brother-in-law Bernard Jackson; and her nieces and nephews, Jennifer Vaval, Tami, Alison, Kristin Jackson, John, Tyler and Kelly Peterson.
