It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gaetano Mastropierro of Cornwall, New York, who passed away on November 20, 2024, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Gaetano may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the echoes of his kindness, the warmth of his embrace, and the light of his enduring love.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Louis Mastropierro and Josephine Mastropierro (Bonagura); and his sister Margaret Sciortino. He is survived by: his wife Gene M. Mastropierro (Rose); his son Joseph T. Mastropierro of State College, PA; and his sister Anne Saraceno of Yorktown Heights, NY..
Visitation was held on Tuesday, November 26th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Quigley-Sullivan Funeral Home Inc. (337 Hudson St, Cornwall-On-Hudson, NY 12520). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Wednesday, November 27th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the St. Thomas of Canterbury Church (340 Hudson St, Cornwall-On-Hudson, NY 12520).
