He was predeceased by: his parent Leo Kennedy. He is survived by: his parent Helen Rosenblum; his wife Kathleen Gleeson Kennedy; his children, Alan Kennedy (Maura) of Indiana and Beth Ann (Thomas Brown) of Massachusetts; and his grandsons, Liam Kennedy of Virginia and Kyle Kennedy of Indiana. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
