He was predeceased by: his parents, John Retta and Esther Retta (Poggi); his brother Edward Retta; and his daughter Joyce Retta (Brown). He is survived by: his wife Mathilde Jean Retta; his children, Jeffery Retta (Sharen) of New Windsor, NY and Debra Quinn (Patrick); and also, Linda Ofeldt, Diane Stillwood, Cheryl Scaccio, Dylan, Christine, Valerie, Nicole, Ronald, Stefan, Shane, Justin, Frankie, Christopher, Michael, Kenny, Jack, Malcolm and Roy.
