It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Philip J. Hopp of Cornwall on Hudson, New York, born in Flushing, New York, who passed away on April 9, 2022, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Valentine J. Hopp and Agnes E. Hopp (Schmidt). He is survived by: his wife Gloria Hopp (Carolan); his children, Michael S. Hopp of Charlotte, NC and Kelli A. Falk (Bradley) of Newburgh, NY; his grandchildren, Connor, Cameron and Jayden Falk of Newburgh, NY; and his siblings, Theresa Soldano (Vincent) of Cornwall, NY and Richard Hopp (Carol) of Rocky Point, NY. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Based on new CDC guidelines adopted by NYS, fully vaccinated individuals do not need to wear masks or be socially distanced, but unvaccinated individuals must continue to wear masks and be socially distanced in the funeral home.
