She was predeceased by: her parents, Louis A. Swing and Dorothea P. Swing (Sprague); her brother Paul Swing; and her siblings-in-law, Kathy Swing and John McGuiness.
She is survived by: her husband Joseph T. McGuiness; her son Stephen J. McGuiness (Jessica); her grandchildren, Aidan and Grace of Cornwall-On; her son Christopher L. McGuiness (Dena); her grandchildren, Kayla and Danny; her sister Mary-Lynn Pruitt (Ralph); and her sister-in-law Helen McGuiness. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, October 29th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Quigley-Sullivan Funeral Home Inc. (337 Hudson St, Cornwall-On-Hudson, NY 12520). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, October 30th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Hope United Methodist Church (198 Main St, Cornwall, NY 12518).
