It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gerald Jaeger (Cornwall on Hudson, New York), born in Goshen, New York, who passed away on June 4, 2021, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, John F. Jaeger and Elizabeth V. Jaeger (Coan); his brother John Jaeger; and his siblings-in-law, James Randazzo, Barbara Randazzo and Susan Randazzo.
He is survived by: his wife Frances Jaeger (Randazzo); his son Marc Jaeger (Holli) of Walden, NY; his grandchildren, Laynie, Ian and Avery; his great grandchild Isla; his siblings, Catherine Witherel (Preston) of Gardiner, NY and Robert W. Jaeger (Ruth) of Mobile, AL; and his siblings-in-law, Rocco Randazzo (Alice) of New Windsor, NY, Richard Randazzo (Mary) of Cornwall, NY, Eugene Randazzo of Cornwall, Jean Paolini (Randazzo) of Cornwall and Dorothy Randazzo of Cornwall. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Based on new CDC guidelines adopted by NYS, fully vaccinated individuals do not need to wear masks or be socially distanced, but unvaccinated individuals must continue to wear masks and be socially distanced in the funeral home.
