He is survived by: his wife Joanne Wray Sinclaire; his sister Helen Sinclaire Blythe of Paso Robles, California; his children, Catherine Brooks of Somerset, Virginia and William Lincoln Sinclaire of Grand Junction, Colorado; and his grandson William Sinclaire Brooks of Carrboro.

Donations in memory may be made to the Polo Training Foundation, St. Philip-in-the-Field Episcopal Church and the National Western Stock Show capital campaign.
