With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Vivian K. Asiello of Corning, New York, who passed away on March 6, 2025 at the age of 78. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ivan Knickerbocker and Ruth Knickerbocker (Danningburg); her brothers, Gary Knickerbocker and David Knickerbocker; her brother-in-law Albert Asiello Sr.; and her father-in-law Michael Asiello Sr..
She is survived by: her husband Michael Asiello Jr. of Mary's Church; her children, Thomas Asiello of Corning, Christopher Asiello of Corning and Michelle Varga (Erik) of Texas; her mother-in-law Lorraine Asiello of Painted Post; her brother Carl Knickerbocker of Big Flats; her sister-in-law Carol "Lynna" McCoy (John) of North Carolina; her grandchildren, Douglas Asiello, Elizabeth Varga, Eleanor Varga, Vincenzo and Lachlan Asiello; her niece Sue Haywood of Dansville; and her pet Tripp.
Visitation was held on Thursday, March 13th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Carpenter's Funeral Home (14 E Pulteney St, Corning, NY 14830). A funeral service was held on Thursday, March 13th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
