He was predeceased by: his parents, Patsy Mandell and Margaret Mandell (Sample); and his sisters, Patricia Baker, Sandy Glover, Mary Lou Hulslander and Daisy Lee Carroll.
He is survived by: his close friend Patricia Osgood of Corning; his children, Stephen A. Mandell Jr. (Tammy) of Big Flats, Timothy Mandell (Melissa) of Corning, Michelle Hubbard (Jason) of Newfield and James Mandell (Moira) of Kennebunkport; his grandchildren, Brittany Neally (Travis), Mallorie LaDelia (Stephan), Timothy Mandell Jr. (Emily), Seth Hubbard, Garrett Mandell (Caitlyn), Corrina Mandell and Troy Hubbard (Cassie); his sister Denise Mandell; and his pet Banjo. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
