He was predeceased by: his parents, John E. Rhoads and Margaret E. Rhoads (Oldfield); his children, Rodney K. Rhoads, Steven A. Rhoads and Ruth E. Rhoads; his siblings, Basil C. Rhoads and Marjorie L. Easling (Rhoads); and his former wife Margaret E. Savka (Barney).
He is survived by: his children, Rita Maury-Mitchell of Corning, NY and Randy L. Rhoads of Penn Yan, NY; his brothers, Richard D. Rhoads and Brian C. Rhoads; and his grandchildren, Shawn M. Kowerko and Jamie A. Rhoads. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren, and many great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Donations in lieu of flowers can be made to the American Legion in Elmira Heights, NY.
