She was predeceased by: her parents, Cornelius "Neil" C. and Margaret W. Marty Cotter; her siblings, Anna Dahlgren, Joan Candleana and James; her nephew Tim; and her nieces, Judy Cannon and Patricia Herman.
She is survived by: her sisters-in-law, Rita Maio Cotter and Margaret "Peg" Sproule Cotter; her cousin Nancy Marty Hamill of Corning; and her close friends, Rita and Bill Cannon. She is also survived by nieces and nephews and extended family.
A celebration of Rita's life is being planned for a future date due to the abruptness of her passing from complications of COVID19. The family asks that you please wear a mask and save a life.
