It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Richard LaClair BeGell Jr. of Corning, New York, who passed away on March 17, 2024, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard BeGell and Adelma BeGell (Case); his wife Vera Marie Wetmore; his son Richard LaClair BeGell III; and his sister Janet BeGell Wilson.
He is survived by: his daughters, Janice Wolff (Thomas) of Orchard Park, Nancy VanEtten (Kenneth) of Corning and Priscilla McLane (Michael) of Sewell, NJ; and his brother Ronald BeGell (Kathy). He is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren, along with numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Richard's name may be sent to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or Boys Town charities, which were both organizations that he supported.
