The passing of Rhea J. DeWert (Corning, New York) leaves a void in the hearts of many, as we bid farewell to a loving soul who departed on December 25, 2024 at the age of 92. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Everett Steves and Gladys Steves; her husband Daren R. DeWert; her son Keven DeWert (Lisa) of Westfield, PA; and her granddaughter Danielle Miller.
She is survived by: her sisters, Laura and Lavone; her son Teron (Dollas Fuller) of Moneta, VA; her grandchildren, Nancy Dawson (Michael) of Beaver Dams and Tammara Caparulo (Steven) of Statesville, NC.; her daughter-in-law Lisa DeWert (James Gauthier); and also, William, Benjamin, Lester and Glenn. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren; 26 great grandchildren; and 17 great-great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, December 31st 2024 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Phillips Funeral Home (17 W Pulteney St, Corning, NY 14830). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, December 31st 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, those wishing may make donations to the Alzheimer's Association or the Humane Society of Schuyler County.
