It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Peter Barney Sr. (Corning, New York), born in Lindley, New York, who passed away on January 14, 2021, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Barney and Leora Barney (Ball); his grandson Sean; his siblings, Richard, William, Allen, Mildred "June" and Carolanne; and his stepfather Orlando Beeman.
He is survived by: his children, Brian Barney (Sharon) of Corning, Debbie Thomas (Jeff) of Waverly, NY, Missy and Peter Barney Jr. of Painted Post; and his grandchildren, Carrie, Angelina, Brittany, Michelle, Crystal, Jeremy and Clarke. He is also survived by 17 great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
