She was predeceased by: her parents, George McCarthy and Mary McCarthy (Kelly); her husband Paul R. Ambrosone; and her siblings, Edward, Frances and Katherine.

She is survived by: her children, Elizabeth Castilano (John) of Seven Fields, PA, Mary Ambrosone (Patrick Gargano) of Corning, Joseph Ambrosone of Corning, Paul Ambrosone, Jr. of Lawrenceville, PA, Edward Ambrosone of Nokesville, VA, Nicholas Ambrosone of Chesapeake, VA, John Ambrosone (Jane Stein) of Shawsville, VA and Vincent Ambrosone of Austin, TX; her grandchildren, John Castilano (Karen), Tony Castilano (Alaina Banyay), Stella Castilano, Christie Glick (Alex Noviello) and Koen Steele; and her great grandchildren, Jack, Ben Castilano, Ashton Glick and Gianna Castilano. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
