He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Kenkichi Yamaguchi and Teruko Yamaguchi; his uncle Rear Admiral Tamon; his wife Michiko; his children, Michitaka (Len Garcia-Duran), Hanako (Athanasios Dousmanis), Jiro (Lorri Espinosa) and Sachiko (Richard Morocco); his sister Hideko Tsukamoto; and his grandchildren, Jason, Kaia, Etsuko, Jack and Madison.
