She was predeceased by: her father Ernest Knowles; her son David Ruocco; her former husband Joseph A. Ruocco; and her husband Richard Long. She is survived by: her mother Margaret Knowles (Holton); her daughter Stephanie Spry (James); her grandchildren, Brandon Showalter, Alexis Wojciechowski-Spry (Lea) and Chelsi Dieg (Josh); her great grandchildren, Parker, Murphy and Elliot Dieg; her siblings, Lonnie Knowles (Shido) and Valerie Howe (Gary); her sister-in-law Donna Ruocco; her stepchildren, Ken Long (Julie) and Kelly Wilson; and her uncles, Harry Knowles (Donna) and Stanley Knowles (Esther). She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Donations in Kathie's name may be sent to a charity of donor's choice or the Alzheimer's Association.
