With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Julia Smith in Corning, New York, born in Solvay, New York, who passed away on September 8, 2020 at the age of 72. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Callahan and Ethel Callahan (Hanmer); and her brothers, Pat and Fred Callahan. She is survived by: her husband Gary Smith of Painted Post; her children, Lance McCormick of Chatsworth, CA, Lisa McCormick (Gary Villali) of Syracuse, NY and Kristonya Kensinger (James) of Eagle Lake, FL; her grandson Skyler Dane McCormick; her stepchildren, Melanie Noel Smith of Georgia and Raymond Decoe Smith of Barto, FL; her siblings, Ethel Scripa of Polk City, FL, Michael Callahan of Wisconsin and Bob Callahan of Florida; and her brother-in-law Herman Smith of Winter Haven, FL. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
