It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of John Sands (Corning, New York), born in Auburn, New York, who passed away on December 11, 2019, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, John Dayton and Angie Whitman Sands; and his brother Richard Dayton Sands. He is survived by: his wife Eileen Sands; his daughter Christine Vizzari (Matthew); his granddaughter Angelina Vizzari of Niagara Falls, ON; his son Paul Sands (Jennifer); his grandchildren, Quay, Cade Sands and Carly Sands of Addison, NY; his nieces, Marguerite Sands, Virginia Sands and Elizabeth Stewart (Thomas); and his great-nephew Joshua Stewart.
