He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Lester Ingalls and Clara Ingalls (Slocum); his wife Pauline; his children, Deborah Prutsman (Marc) of Corning, Denis Ingalls (Kristy) of Wilmington, NC and Daryl Ingalls (Margaret) of Greensburg, PA; his sister Judy Seger (Jeff) of Winnabow, NC; his sister-in-law Connie Ingalls Lavash of Danville, NH; his grandchildren, Zachary (Stephanie), Ethan, Lindsey, Anna and Trevor; his great grandchild Liliana Ingalls; and his siblings, Janice Preston, Jim Ingalls and Joel Ingalls. He was also cherished by several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in John's name to North Baptist Church or to the Alzheimer's Association, 435 East Henrietta Road, Rochester, NY 14620.
