She was predeceased by: her parents, Sebastian Rocco and Pearl Rocco (Miller); her sister Rita Wass; her mother-in-law Catherine Carapella; her brother Mark; and her sister-in-law Eileen Sofia.
She is survived by: her husband Anthony J. Sofia of Flagstaff, AZ; her children, Joseph Sofia (Pamela) of Dove Canyon, CA, Kathy Sando of Flagstaff, AZ and Marybeth Loden of Flagstaff, AZ; her sister Mona Lucas of Virginia Beach, VA; her brother-in-law Michael Carapella of Addison; her friend Christy Mendoza; and her grandsons, John Sando (Ashley), Gregory Sando (Brooke), Joseph Sofia Jr. and Evan Sofia. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
The family asks that in lieu of flowers, any donations be made in her name to the Corning Chapter of the American Red Cross Blood Bank where she served as a long tenured volunteer.
