He was predeceased by: his parents, Edwin Ober, MD and Edith Lowe; his son William "Bill" Edwin Ober (late Bea Ober); and his siblings, Anne Frey, Mary Ellen Andrews and William Edwin Ober.
He is survived by: his wife Rosemarie Ober (Gross); his daughters, Kimberly S. DiGiacomo (Samuel) and Alicia J. Ketchum (Chuck Snickles); his stepchildren, Jim Conrad (Carol), Kathy Stewart (William), Linda Stillman, Sally Bohart (Gary), John Conrad and Julie Conrad; and his grandchildren, Jessica, Caryn Ober, Anthony, Alyssa DiGiacomo and Shanyn Ketchum. He is also survived by several step grandchildren and step great grandchildren.
