He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert L. Gross and Leonora Gross (Falk); and the mother of his children Janice. He is survived by: his children, Nestrelda Sims (Sloane), Master Sergeant Robert Gross II and Joseph Gross; his grandchildren, Liam, Ashton, Treldy, Kyra, Bode, Kyla and Piper; and his siblings, Mike Gross, Pat Farmer (late Mike), Pam Gross, Peggie Stinson (Larry), Craig Gross (Toni) and Brian Gross (Tina).
