He is survived by: his friend Joan Butala; his children, Julia Vargo of Hammondsport, NY, Richard Vargo of Corning, NY, Shawn and Sue Vargo (McCarthy) of Painted Post, NY.; and his grandchildren, Graham, Amanda O'Donnell, Erin and Ryan Vargo. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
