It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Edith Mae Shinners (Corning, New York), born in Wellsboro, Pennsylvania, who passed away on February 28, 2019, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, George Stevens and Laura Stevens (Wilcox); her spouse Robert "Shine" Shinners, Jr.; her children, Nancy Shinners of Elmira Heights and Steve Shinners (Mary Ann) of Owego; her grandchildren, Lindsay Harnden (Matthew) of Lewiston, ME and Colin Shinners (Kelin) of San Francisco, CA; and her siblings, Robert Stevens and Ruth Fowler. She was also cherished by nieces and nephews.
