She was predeceased by: her parents, Lillian Smith and William Smith; her husband James Bempkins; her brother Willam J. Harding; her sister-in-law Marie Harding; her nephew Christopher Harding; and her siblings-in-law, Mary Johnson (Victor), Thelma Moules (Ken) and Robert Bempkins (Eleanor).
She is survived by: her children, Scott Bempkins (Alice Lenhart) of Groton, MA and Dr. Jennifer Bempkins (Tom Ring) of Corning; her granddaughters, Sara Bempkins (Jeff) of Medford, MA, Elizabeth Yennaco (Rick) of Stow, MA and Meredith Orbank-Bempkins (Mike) of Watertown, MA; her great grandchildren, Alma and Isla; and her pets, Sully and Oliver. She is also survived by cousins, nephews and nieces; and numerous close friends.
