David B. Comfort Sr. Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of David B. Comfort Sr. of Corning, New York, born in Torrington, Connecticut, who passed away on December 29, 2020, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl Comfort and Mabel Comfort (Lockwood); his former wife Diane Goltry Comfort; his son David B. Comfort, Jr.; his sister Patricia Gascon; his stepson Bart Eric "Rick" Hickok; and his parents-in-law, Harry and Mabel Sturdevant.
He is survived by: his wife Sharon L. Comfort of Corning, NY; his son Dustin L. Comfort of Hamlin, NY; his stepchildren, Roger Hickok (Lisa), Christopher Hickok (Laura Ball) and Angela Stull (Eric); his sister Joyce Groves; and his sister-in-law Elaine Repoza (Ralph Chirico). He is also survived by six step-grandchildren, one step great grandson; and several nieces and nephews.
