We are sad to announce that on January 21, 2022, at the age of 88, Carolyn G. Carpenter of Corning, New York, born in Elmira, New York passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John R. Garey and Gertrude Garey (Holleran); her husband Edwin J. Carpenter, Jr.; and her siblings, Mitzie and Jack.
She is survived by: her children, Bitsie Carpenter (Matt Davies) of Denver, CO and Edwin J. Carpenter, III of Corning; and her sister Joanie Ramsay of Elmira. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
