She was predeceased by: her parents, Harry Swarthout and Ethelene Swarthout (Sumner); and her husband Delmar Carson. She is survived by: her children, Kenneth Houck (Venny) and Bobbie Houck of Corning; her stepson Mike Carson (Tina); her grandchildren, Daniel, Dominic (Danielle), Kirsten, Dylan, Damien, Ethan and Tyler; her great grandchildren, Emma and Kaenon; and her friend Sherry Stratton. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
