He was predeceased by: his parents, Marvin Ballard and Gladys Ballard (Lindsey); his former wife Josephine Rosati Ballard; his daughter Nancy Jo Ballard; and his siblings, Shirley Ballard-Troy, Donald Ballard and Raymond Ballard.
He is survived by: his wife Eileen Ballard of Glens Falls; and his stepson Robert Shovah (Jackie). He is also survived by his four grandchildren; four great grandchildren.
