He was predeceased by: his mother Gloria Bussard (Zimmerman); his brother Joseph Heck; and his niece Colleen Ann Hernandez. He is survived by: his father Willard Bussard of Virginia Beach; his son Philip Bussard of Italy; his sisters, Evelyn Myers of Orlando and Alison Hernandez Garcia (Marcos) of Oakfield; his nieces, Crystal Lawrence, Rachel Rojas and Ashley Marcos; and his nephew Joseph Louis Myers.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to the Disabled American Veterans.
