He was predeceased by: his parents, James Murray and Lorna Murray; and his siblings, Nancy Murray Earls and James Murray. He is survived by: his sisters, Dr Christine Murray, Joanne M. Gerani and Jayne N. Murray; and his sister-in-law Elizabeth Murray. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews; and many dear friends.
