He was predeceased by: his wife Helga E. Baumann; and his son Wolfgang. He is survived by: his sister Karin Demme of Niederbiel; his daughters, Birgitt Hammond (Gary) of Corfu, NY and Linda Conroy (Richard) of Batavia, NY; his grandchildren, Jennifer Miller (Jeff), Jason Hammond (Jennifer Beedham), Tara Kaczorowski (John), Michelle Geoghegan (Chris) and Juliana Fuchs; and his great grandchildren, Madison, Wolfie, Lily and Ava. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
