He was predeceased by: his parents, Daniel McCarthy-Lorenzi and Marion McCarthy-Lorenzi; and his siblings, Robert McCarthy and Patricia Manley. He is survived by: his children, Dr. Kelly Ihme (Baird) and Kevin McCarthy; his grandchildren, Kai, Ayla and Orion Ihme; his siblings, James McCarthy (Mary), Sue Ellen Nicks (Martice) and Anne Allport; and his stepsiblings, Thomas Lorenzi (Sharon), James Lorenzi (Sue) and Robert Lorenzi (Sara). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
